President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the efforts of his administration in reinvigorating the agricultural sector and the economy is not receiving good publicity.
The President revealed this on Sunday, at an interactive session with the Nigerian community in Krakow, Poland at the 2018 United Nations Climate Change Conference.

In his speech, Buhari said “We (Nigeria) have food security and that has come with fiscal security because a lot of young educated people have not regretted going back to the farms and earning a respectable living.
“I am afraid this is not receiving good publicity because a lot of rural areas are enjoying the benefits of our interventions in agriculture”.
President Buhari went further to state that Nigeria has virtually stopped the importation of food especially rice which corroborates the stance of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and the Minister of Information over the USDA report on Nigeria’s rice importation.
